St. Matthew's Christian Education

Sunday School Easter Play

A Message From the Christian Education Director

Christian Education is an important part of parish life at St. Matthew's. Classes are provided for all ages, pre-k through adult, during the school year and Vacation Bible School is offered one week during the summer for school age children. The children are taught basic Bible principles and are provided opportunities to participate in the outreach and mission activities of the church. Intergenerational activities are woven into the Christian Education program so that all ages can work together from time to time.

We offer special activities and field trips for the Jr. High and Sr. High EYC groups (Episcopal Youth Community). There are also weekly gatherings of these groups, Jr. High's Pizza with the Padre and Sr. High's Fast Food Fellowships, in addition to Sunday School.

Some of the ways we involve our children and youth in worship, ministry, & fun are listed below.
