Pastoral care at St. Matthew's includes:
Stephen's Ministers Craig Combs is trained to help persons through personal crisis; pray for all those in the parish who ask for prayers; a prayer request board for all who wish to have prayers for someone; an active in-reach team that assists persons in the parish in times of transition. All of these are complemented by the on-going pastoral response of the rector.
Daughters of the King Members of this women's lay religious order are committed to daily prayer and service following a Rule of Life. The Daughters of the King sponsor a monthly prayer time on the first Wednesday of the month as well as have a regular monthly meeting. Other events include an annual quiet day.
